Billy Nelson has long been pushing his heavyweight contender Martin Bakole.
The Congolese star is on a nine fight winning streak since suffering defeat to Michael Hunter in 2018.

The heavyweight is looking for a marquee fight and his trainer has revealed some of the names that have turned down the chance to face Bakole.

Speaking to IFLTV, Nelson, said: “You’ve got Frank Sanchez who beat Junior Fa, both said no to Martin, so did Miller, so did Wilder.”
“Martin Bakole got offered four fights and we said aye to the lot of them and supposedly, apart from Wilder cause Joe was always the number one guy to fight him, the other three said no.”
