YouTuber Deji gives his excuses for Alex Wassabi boxing match defeat

YouTuber Deji has reeled off the excuses for his latest boxing defeat, which came against fellow social media sensation Alex Wassabi.

Deji, who lost his two previous boxing matches as a consequence of his poor cardio, was certainly in better shape than ever when he took to the ring against American YouTuber Alex Wassabi on Saturday night, but he simply didn’t throw enough punches to convince the judges that he was worthy of a victory.

He was subsequently dealt his third loss on the trot, which raised serious doubts as to whether he would ever get into the ring again, but a defiant Deji has, pardon the pun, come out swinging and listed his excuses for not being in the best possible condition when he fought Wassabi at the Wembley Arena a couple of days back.

KSI’s brother is quoted by talkSPORT saying, “my current coach now is Daley [Perales]. I only got to experience Daley for six weeks.”

“And it was barely even six weeks because the first week was just me getting to know him, the last week doesn’t count because that’s when we’re tapering off and for one of the weeks I got COVID.”

Fair play to the kid if he’s willing to put his health on the line for a FOURTH time and really does want to fight again, but something tells us that he really ought to try another sport at this point. Boxing, quite clearly, just isn’t his niche.
