‘Southampton and Bournemouth are in talks over a deal to swap Josh King and Shane Long. The Bournemouth man would join the Saints on a permanent deal while the Irish striker would sign for the Cherries on an initial loan deal.’ According to David Ornstein
The Tipperary native has been struggling to get a regular start at Southampton for sometime now, having only two starts this season. Long has been struggling to find the net for a long time now, despite his blistering pace. The Irish man is now been linked with a move to championship side Bournemouth.

There’s a few things going on at #SaintsFC today. Push for Ainsley Maitland-Niles continues, which would pave the way for Yan Valery to Birmingham. Bournemouth interested in Shane Long but he’d only go if Saints get a replacement like Josh King, which looks unlikely at the moment

Bournemouth are currently being managed by English man Jason Tindall and currently lie 6th in the Championship table and Shane Long would be a welcome edition as they look to chase down promotion to the Premier League out of the Championship. Who Remembers the job Eddie Howe did when they were in the Premier League, wouldn’t it be great to see them back again?
