Kevin De Bruyne has given Manchester City the lead in their title-deciding clash with Liverpool after just five minutes.
Despite Man City having been 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League table at one point in time, Liverpool have successfully wrestled their way back into contention after embarking on a stunning victorious run.
That left the two sides separated by merely a single point heading into today’s game at the Etihad, which predictably left football fans billing this as the Premier League title decider.
Jurgen Klopp will have prepared for this game with extra consideration to the details, such is the magnitude of the fixture, but after just five minutes he saw his side’s resolve broken by the brilliant Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian midfield maestro had a huge helping hand from the deflection off of Joel Matip, but when you show this kind of intent and ambition with the ball at your feet, you’re always going to create opportunities for yourself.
