🚨 David Haye names the current ‘baddest man on the planet’

David Haye was impressed with Francis Ngannou’s professional boxing debut despite his defeat to Tyson Fury in October.

The former UFC heavyweight champion announced himself to the boxing world with a better than expected performance against ‘The Gypsy King’.

He even managed to drop the WBC heavyweight champion before being edged out via a split-decision from the judges.

That performance alongside his MMA credentials has led to David Haye labelling him as the current ‘baddest man on the planet’ a phrase used heavily in the peak Mike Tyson era.

Posting on X formerly Twitter Haye wrote:

“The Fury vs. Ngannou fight brought mixed emotions. Fury secured a close points win, moving closer to the “Undisputed Fight” with Usyk. But Ngannou’s incredible performance truly stood out.

“In my view, Ngannou had the edge, winning more rounds than he lost, including a legit knockdown, that 10-8 round was significant.

“Ngannou’s control in a boxing ring with only boxing rules impressed me the most, particularly as it was his first ever boxing match. Despite Fury’s victory, let’s pay our respect to Ngannou’s status as “The Baddest Man on The Planet”.”

Next up for Francis Ngannou is the intriguing clash with Anthony Joshua on March 8th.
