What a great contest that was between two power houses of Gaelic football in Kerry and Dublin. Dublin won their 31st All-Ireland and James McCarthy, Stephen Cluxton and Michael Fitzsimons won their ninth medal.
As the speeches were going on, some of the Dublin fans booed the match day referee, David Gough. We honestly couldn’t believe this, what a game he had in the centre of the pitch.

Was on the hill, very few Dublin people booed him, vast majority of boos came from the Kerry lads. Consensus was he had a solid game. Kerry crowd around us were unhappy with him for not adding more time.

Booing the referee is something that simply shouldn’t happen. Good or bad and to be honest David Gough was extremely good today, you can’t have disrespect like that. There should be a bit or respect for the job the referees do, without them, we without have our games which we love so well.
