David de Gea is reportedly being linked with a move to Newcastle United after it was announced that Nick Pope will miss at least four months.
The English shot-stopper dislocated his shoulder during his side’s clash with Manchester United last weekend and was forced off.
As expected, Eddie Howe’s men have been linked with a host of potential replacements including Spanish goalkeeper, De Gea.
The former Manchester United man is still a free agent since he left the club in the summer after the arrival of Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
After reportedly turning down a huge contract with a Saudi pro-league side, De Gea is open to a move back to the Premier League but this time with Newcastle according to The Telegraph.
