The 23 year old from Kerry and the footballer of the year is finally starting to get some recognition for his achievements and his All-Ireland medal last year, with picking up winning the The Independents sports person of the year.
There were a lot of people unhappy that Katie Taylor won the RTE award for 2022, when you consider everything that Clifford achieved this year and how long it’s been since a GAA player has won that award.
