Darren Bent has revealed his thoughts on where he thinks Mason Mount could go this summer if he leaves Chelsea.
Mount is currently going through a contract standoff with the Blues, with several teams registering their interest in signing him this summer.
Bent revealed on Talksport yesterday where he thinks the 24-year old could end up this summer in the event he does depart Stamford Bridge.
“I think he could start for Liverpool, Newcastle or even United. Any top-six club I think.
“But if Frank Lampard plays him enough while he’s here until the end of the season, and he performs when given the chance, there is no reason why Chelsea won’t go to Mount and say ‘We’re willing to give you this‘ [the wage you want].”

Mount is contracted to Chelsea until 2024, with rumours that Liverpool are interested in his signature, but with Lampard now back in charge of the Blues until the season’s end and possibly beyond, Mount may be willing to extend his stay at the club, for whom he is a two-time Player of the Year.
