Danny Murphy had a moment to forget on Talksport after forgetting what he wrote in his Daily Mail column about Harry Kane.
Yesterday on the White and Jordan show on the station, the pair were discussing what the future holds for Tottenham’s Harry Kane with talk resurfacing once again of whether he should leave Spurs in search of success.
White posed the question to Murphy – whilst quoting the former player’s column – of whether he still believes Tottenham are no closer to delivering what Kane deserves in terms of trophies to match his goal record, to which Murphy said he didn’t fully agree with that notion.

“I don’t get the bit about what he ‘deserves’.” To which White responded: “You wrote that.” – a statement which was followed by a comically long period of silence as Murphy sat trying to think of a reply.

It was followed by a few laughs from White and also Jordan, who was listening to their debate, with Murphy no doubt wishing he could crawl up into a ball and forget his howler with millions listening over the airwaves.
