🚨 Daniel Cormier gives brutally honest Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight assessment

UFC legend Daniel Cormier has explained exactly why Jake Paul is in a no-win situation in his fight against Mike Tyson.

Paul and Tyson have a staggering 30 years age gap and this has sparked controversy when the fight was announced.

Tyson last fought in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr in 2020 while ‘The Problem Child’ has built a 9-1 professional record.

But Cormier doesn’t think Paul and his team have made the correct decision in enticing Tyson back to the ring.

Speaking to Ben Askren, he said: “It might ruin you if he just beats on Mike Tyson. He’s in a no-win situation.

“I don’t know that he thought this one through as much as he probably should have been, because if you just go out there and you just beat the sh*t outta Mike Tyson. Everybody’s gonna be really mad at you. I mean, really mad.”

Askren, who suffered a first-round defeat to Paul when he faced him, replied: “Yes, I don’t disagree.

“Especially if it’s kind of like, I don’t wanna say like disrespectful because it’s fighting.

“So there, there probably shouldn’t be that much respect. But, if you say Tyson gasses and he starts looking really bad, and he’s just kinda like picking ’em apart, like that’s gonna be something that people say, f**k this pay-per-view.

“Why am I watching this? This is awful. I don’t wanna watch this. This looks terrible.”

‘DC’ concluded that Paul’s boxing career could be finished: “If he knocks Mike out, like if he just like starches Mike Tyson, it might be over.”
