Ok you could see he was trying to head it back to his goalkeeper, but talk about a bad call and will this be the moment that will cost Arsenal dearly this evening? Arsenal could really do with getting back into the Champions League with the hope of fans retuning to the ground next season, the revenue that cones with that will be badly needed.

Arsenal are currently tenth in the Premier League table and look a long way off getting into the top four of the Premier League so Mikel Arteta would have really been hoping to go far in this competition or at least come close and add to his silverware already picked up at Arsenal. Questions could be asked again after this if Arsenal don’t go through in Mikel Arteta the right man for the job?
