Dana White has revealed that Vladimir Putin gave Khabib Nurmagomedov a very lavish gift after his win over Conor McGregor.
The fierce rivals met at UFC 229 in 2018 with Khabib controlling and dominating the fight before submitting the Irishman in the fourth round of their eagerly anticipated showdown.
And speaking on the ‘Games with Names’ podcast Dana White revealed exactly what the the Dagestani fighter received from the Russian president.
He said: “He didn’t even make it back to his dressing room after the fight, and Putin was on the phone.”
“Putin gave him and his father, like, $20 million worth of property in Russia. Then he went into the Muslim territories where these guys are like, cars, money, gyms, whatever he wanted.”

The MMA legend retired in 2020 after his win over Justin Gaethje with a record of 29-0.
