UFC president Dana White is reportedly planning to host two huge title fights on March 27 in what is set to be a blockbuster PPV.
The top-tier mixed martial arts promotion is arguably leading the way in elite level sports as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt all aspects of life.
White’s UFC is currently preparing to host three live events, live from Fight Island, all of which are set to span across just one week.
The first of the three fight cards is scheduled to take place on Saturday evening when Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway will take-on Calvin ‘The Boston Finisher’ Kattar in the card’s main-event.
However, in an attempt to keep the fan’s appetite for violence satisfied, White and co. are already planning for two massive title fights iin just eight week’s time.
According to a recent claim from leading MMA journalist Aerial Helwani, the UFC have targeted a double title header.
Helwani claims a Heavyweight showdown between Stipe Miocic (20-3) and Francis Ngannou (15-3) and a Featherweight blockbuster which will see champion Alexander Volkanovski defend his belt against Jujutsu specalist Brian ‘T-City’ Ortega (15-1) are both eyed for March 27.
Per sources, the current plan for March’s second UFC PPV, on March 27, is for it to feature:
Stipe Miocic x Francis Ngannou for the heavyweight title
&
Alexander Volkanovski x Brian Ortega for the 145 title.
However, neither fight is finalized just yet or officially agreed.

It has been noted that neither title fight has been officially confirmed, however, according to Helwani, the UFC are working towards finalising both bouts.
