A massive win for Ireland at a full house at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin this evening. But some of the English fans aren’t happy with the try that Dan Sheahan scored and believe it was a mile forward!

Not that it’ll make a difference to the final score but forward 🤔

It was much less obvious on other camera angle replays – I suspect that particular camera angle is giving a misleading impression. If it was forward, it was absolutely marginal, not blatant.
The rule is very clear is the movement of the hands that matter not the trajectory of the ball otherwise every pass made at pace would be forwardWhen you consider England had a fantastic try opportunity pulled back for a short pass that didn’t look very forward at all, seeing that and the later try-scoring pass by Lowe, which also looked a bit suspect, is a bit galling.Ireland were by far the better team today, played most of the rugby, this england side seems to be playing within themselves, capable of far better performances, today, Ireland were 20 pts the better sideThis was about 3 yards more forward than the one that England got called back for. The inconsistency today was probably the worst I’ve seen for years.
