Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson this morning ahead of his proposed return to Manchester United.
Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, with the deal thought to be close to being completed as of Thursday evening.
However, come Friday morning, Man City now appear to be OUT the race and Man United are firm favourites to get a deal for Ronaldo over the line.
Things appear to have developed pretty quickly, with even Sir Alex Ferguson reaching out to Ronaldo on the phone in an attempt to convince him to move to Old Trafford.
