New angles have emerged of Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly smashing a fan’s phone after Manchester United’s loss to Everton.
It’s no great secret that Ronaldo hates losing. The Portuguese superstar has repeatedly stormed off the field in a strop following Man United defeats this campaign.
However, his frustration boiled over at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, with Man United having been miserably defeated by relegation-battling Everton.
Ronaldo had a difficult afternoon on an individual level and was unable to turn the tide in the contest. Man United now face an uphill battle to even qualify for the Europa League.
You can understand why Ronaldo wouldn’t be singing and dancing at the full-time whistle, but that’s no excuse for acting in the manner that he did.
Footage emerged on social media that appeared to show Ronaldo smashing a fan’s phone to the floor as he made his way off the pitch and down the tunnel.

En el video se observa el hecho, en el que al parecer un aficionado le pidió una foto, y la reacción de Ronaldo fue darle un manotazo al aficionado en la mano en el que este tenía el teléfono móvil.
¿Que opinas de esta reacción, es justificable?

Ronaldo himself was clearly ashamed by his actions, taking to social media soon after the game to apologise and invite the fan in question to attend a match at Old Trafford.

Not to even attempt to justify it, but it was out of character for CR7 and you imagine he has woken up regretting it, especially as it went viral on social media after the game’s conclusion.
It does, however, serve as a pretty good measure of his frustration with the current state of affairs at Man United. It’s hard to imagine him still being at the club next season.
