Cristiano Ronaldo offered potential Manchester United January escape route

David Beckham’s MLS outfit Inter Miami are interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in January, according to The Sun.

Ronaldo is enduring a nightmare campaign under Erik ten Hag’s stewardship, perhaps the worst season that he has suffered through in his entire footballing career.

Having failed to force his way out in the summer, Ronaldo has been lumbered among the substitutes, patiently waiting for the January transfer window to come around.

Thankfully for Ronaldo, there isn’t a great deal of club football left to be played before the next transfer window – and he does have at least one option on the table.

According to information shared by The Sun, David Beckham’s Inter Miami would be interested in bringing Ronaldo to the MLS when the January window opens next year.

It remains to be seen if Ronaldo would be interested in moving to the MLS at this point in time, but with top European clubs not interested, he could be tempted into it.

CR7 could do far worse than replicating Zlatan Ibrahimovic and heading to the MLS to find his form and fitness before ultimately making a return to the big time.
