Juventus and Portugal megastar Cristiano Ronaldo may have the world of football at his feet but when it comes to his own house he has someone to answer to, Georgina Rodriguez.
According to the Daily Mail, Rodriguez has banned the five time ballon d’Or winner from changing lightbulbs as part of her mission to keep the 36-year-old injury free.
Rodriguez has revealed that she insists on changing the lightbulbs in the house so the Juventus star avoids the risk of injury.
Twenty-seven year old Rodriguez said that she doesn’t want Cristiano running the risk of getting injured considering how high the ceilings are in their house.
Speaking to Sportweek Rodriguez said: ‘Changing a light bulb in our house is impossible, we have such high ceilings,
‘If you were Cristiano Ronaldo, would you change a light bulb nearly 20 foot above the ground?
‘Better not. Take care of yourself and dedicate yourself to being the best at what you do. I’ll take care of the rest. I make it all work out. I like to take care of my home and my family.’
The Argentinian models tactics seem to be working as Ronaldo turned 36 in February and the Juve attacker seems to be as good as ever.
Ronaldo is in scintillating form again this season and has 28 goals so far despite supposedly coming into the latter stages of his career.
Rodriguez also revealed that the record goal-scorer doesn’t cook and sometimes she likes to welcome him home from training with a fresh meal ready and waiting for him.
‘He doesn’t cook. After training all morning, he deserves to find a good plate of hot food prepared with love at the table,’ she explained. ‘We have a chef and sometimes I cook.’
