Cristiano Ronaldo could be facing a ban after he appeared to slap Sevilla’s Grzegorz Krychowiak during Madrid’s La Liga defeat over the weekend.
Cristiano Ronaldo is known for throwing tantrums but the Portuguese international could be about to spend some time in the stands should he be punished for the incident.
The incident was not seen by the officials and it is unknown whether retroactive action will be taken for what appears to be the Madrid number 7 hitting the Polish midfielder in the face.
Ronaldo’s timing couldn’t be worse as the club’s next game is the much anticipated El Clasico in a fortnight’s time, a clash which is expected to see the return from injury of Leo Messi.
