Cristiano Ronaldo did something nobody expected last night after he scored four goals for Al-Nassr last night against Al-Wehda.

Al-Nassr remain locked in a title battle with rivals Al-Shabab at the top of the Saudi Pro League and Ronaldo’s quadruple strike last night kept them level with the latter on 37 points, above them only on goal difference.

But it was what happened after the match that got people talking.

You usually see players asking Ronaldo for a shirt-swap post-match but this time, the Portuguese icon asked the referee to sign his hattrick ball, and the official duly obliged.

His four goals last night mean that he now has five goals in four games since arriving in the Middle East, while he also has 61 career hattricks to his name and 503 career league goals.

The 38-year old will certainly be happy to get his goal tally up properly and running for his new club, as he looks to put behind him the saga of his Manchester United exit.
