There was a county board meeting last night at Páirc Uí Chaoimh where it was decided that Cork senior football manager John Cleary will stay on for another two years as the head coach.

That’s awful. No progress under JC. Stuck in Division Two but more worrying is how the decision makers with the county board came to this decision. It beggars belief. I suspect the players are in shock as well.

Well done Cork media for a stellar campaign in overseeing this decision. Ye did absolutely zero in offering an alternative : contrast that to Kerry’s journalists, never afraid to call out bullshit. Cork GAA even turned off replies when announced this news. Says it all
