The Castlelyons club man and Cork hurler Colm Spillane shared a tweet during the week that has gone down well with his followers on the X platform that says;
“The rioters last night were pure scum. The people that intervened and stopped that psycho attacking are heroes. Hopefully they all make a full recovery which is the most important thing. People are also right to be upset with Irish immigration policy and rise in crime lately.”

There’s no doubt about it, this was an incident picked up and watched by a lot of people outside of Ireland and really wasn’t a good look for Dublin our the island of Ireland as a whole.
The Gardai in Ireland will have to get serious with these thugs and so will the government, something like this should never happen in Ireland.
