It looks like Pat Ryan will be the new man in charge of the Cork hurlers for the new season when it starts in the new year. Ryan had great success underage and is a proud Sarsfields man, he will have a big job on his hands in getting Cork that elusive All-Ireland.
It’s nearly 20 years now since Cork last won a senior hurling All-Ireland. There are good hurlers coming through Cork and it’s just about getting the right man in charge. Will Pat Ryan be the one to deliver the Liam McCarthy for to Leeside?
Kieran Kingston and Diarmuid O’Sullivan did a great job with the rebels so if Cork do win an All-Ireland in the next few years, they can thank those two men.
