What a cracking game of football that was between age old rivals Cork and Kerry at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork will rue a massive chance to beat the Kingdom and there’s one stat that’s doing the rounds the shows that.

Cork’s Sean Brady was shown a straight red card by the match day referee and it clearly shouldn’t have been red. If that’s a red the game of football is in big trouble ..

Whatever about the Paudie Clifford one, which wasn’t a red but closer to the line, that red card for Sean Brady is an absolute joke..

Cork boss John Cleary on the two Munster semi-final red cards:
"From my vantage point, I thought both sending-offs were very harsh. I think on another day Paudie Clifford's was probably a yellow. Sean Brady's was definitely not a sending-off."

Cork can hold their head up high after that performance, awful shame they didn’t get the job done. It’s been a long time since Cork have beaten Kerry. Hopefully this will inspire the Cork team to push on and have a good season this year.
