Some sad news coming out of Cork GAA this morning 🕊️

Chloe Sexton sadly passed away from the club of St. Mary’s LFGA, Chloe was from Lackaroe in Liscarroll and was a beautiful young girl.

The GAA club paid tribute to the young woman in an emotional statement shared on social media, the Irish Mirror reports.

“St. Mary’s LGFA Club extends our deepest condolences to the family of Chloe Sexton, (Lackaroe, Liscarroll, Co. Cork) who died July 10th 2025,” they said.

“Chloe was an active member of the club for many years, proudly lining out in the no. 1 jersey. Our sincere sympathies to her family, parents Pat and Marie (nee Pigott) brothers Ted, Alan and Paul, grandmother Mary, extended family, friends, neighbours and club mates. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.”

We’d like to send our deepest condolences to Chloe Sexton’s family and friends at this time, just awful, may she rest in peace.
