The Youghal man Bill Cooper has decided to step away from Inter county hurling, he played for Cork for the best part of ten years and was a vital part in the Rebels team. Bill was a former rugby player and was one of the hard men in the centre of midfield and provided Cork with much needed size. He will be missed and was missed this year through injury for Cork.

We wish Bill Cooper all the best in the next phase in his life and he recently had a new arrival to his family. So exciting times ahead for Bill and his partner Edel. And I’m sure he’ll continue to tog out for his beloved club Youghal.
Best Wishes to Bill Cooper on his Retirement from inter County hurling. A Real work horse and battler in the Middle of the Field. A True Warrior for the Rebels over the years. His physicality was a Huge Loss for Cork this year. He always gave it 110% pic.twitter.com/TCeMYbhZI6
