Antonio Conte has been discussing Harry Kane’s future as a Tottenham player – and he can offer no certainties.
Conte’s tenure as Tottenham manager thus far has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. He has made no secret of his opinion that the squad is far short of their big six rivals.
The Italian does still have a fighting chance of steering Spurs into the Champions League qualification positions in his debut campaign in the dugout, however.
He has Harry Kane to thank for that, in no small part, with the Premier League player of the month in quite sensational form at the time of writing.
Tottenham fans will be all the more delighted to see Kane playing some of his best football at the club, with the England captain having tried to force a move away in the summer.
They will be crossing their fingers that he will not be doing the same this time around, but manager Conte can offer no certainties over his continuation at Spurs…
