Conor McGregor’s former friend, Artem Lobov has teaked text messages between the pair as their court case continues.

Lobov claims to be the initial co-founder of Proper No. 12 and is suing his long-time training partner and friend.

Lobov believes he is due a five per cent of the deal that saw McGregor and two other stakeholders sell the business to Proximo Spirits for £476m [$600m] in 2021.

And Lobov has now leaked personal text messages that he says backs his claim.

In the post he captioned:

“I have full trust in the Irish legal system and look forward to clearing my name in the High Court.”

“I’ve been the most loyal friend to Conor, never allowed myself to take money from my brother for camps, because we helped each other achieve our dreams! Its been an honour for me to help him build his biggest business!”

The alleged leaked messages between the pair then goes as follows:

CM: “This fight and this whiskey deal I am going to look after you! You are always there for me brother and I appreciate all your work.”

AL: “The whiskey is going to be huge! [McGregor’s manager] Audie [Attar] told me that you are giving me a percentage, thank you very much for that. It’s going to be a massive success!”

CM: “Don’t worry ‘bout it my brother!”

It’s sad to see a former friendship turn into a legal battle over money. But it’s not surprising with the amount involved.
