Conor McGregor’s latest sparring footage has given fans hope of his eagerly anticipated return.
‘The Notorious’ hasn’t fought for over two years now since he suffered defeat to Dustin Poirier.
It was looking like a return could happen this year in December against Michael Chandler but McGregor’s non enrollment in USADA appears to have scuppered that.

But Michael Chandler believes the mega fight could happen at UFC 300 which no doubt will be a showpiece event for the company.
Speaking to the MMA Hour he said:
“My heart of hearts says the biggest fight we’ve seen in a very long time has to go down on the biggest card that the UFC is going to put together since UFC 200, since UFC 100.
“My heart of hearts, my gut says we might be waiting until UFC 300.”
“Good thing I’ve got a lot of things to keep my busy, and I get an opportunity to train for Conor for a very long time.”
The latest footage of McGregor shows he is back in training and appears to be taking it seriously.
