Conor McGregor was in attendance for the game between The Milwaukee Bucks and Utah Jazz which the Bucks won 125-110.
One moment that went viral from Mondayâs match was when McGregor sized up 7ft 1in NBA star Brook Lopez during the game.
McGregor standing at 5ft 7in was absolutely dwarfed by Lopez who shared a moment of banter with the MMA fighter.

Following the game Lopez revealed what was said by âThe Notoriousâ.
He revealed: âMcGregor asked me how tall I was. I let him know. He asked me to stand up and I did.â
âI knew at that point, once I got up, I had to size him up, I had to do a little something. Iâve seen face-offs before so I knew I had to do my part.
âNow, if somethingâs going to happen, maybe Dame can be my promoter or manager, teach me to fight.
âIâve got nothing. So Iâm really going to rely on Dame for that.â
Users on X formerly Twitter reacted to the viral moment.
One said: âMain character syndrome.â
Another moaned: âWhenâs Conor gonna actually return to the UFC? Heâs everywhere except the octagon these days!â
A third replied: âI though that s*it was AI when I saw the clip wth is Conor McGregor doing in random Jazz game.â
A fourth commented: âAlways makes me laugh that these midgets think they can take on genuine heavyweights.â
McGregor hasnât fought in the Octagon since July 2021 when suffered defeat to Dustin Poirier after he broke his leg in the fight.
He was due to return against Michael Chandler last year, but suffered a toe injury and pulled out of the contest.
As each year passes it becomes more and more unlikely that we will see the âNotoriousâ fight again.
