🚨 Conor McGregor claims he is innocent in emotional post following Nikita Hand verdict

Conor McGregor, was recently found liable in his sexual assault civil case against Nikita Hand.

The Irishman has protested his innocence and claimed his sexual relationship with Hand was consensual.

The former UFC champion was accused of raping Ms Hand, who was awarded €248,603 (£206,000) in damages after a jury found that he was liable of assaulting her.

A judge has ruled that the MMA star must also pay the legal costs of Ms Hand.

This morning McGregor took to X to hit-out at his critics and once again claim he is innocent of the accusations.

He wrote: ‘I am telling you now, RECORD EVERYTHING! Place your phone on video record and place it down. Hear the audio. And not for sharing as that is illegal, but for if ever you get arrested. It’s the only thing that will save you. Not cctv before and after the fact. Not every single other eyewitness present, not lies found out on the stand nor a behavioural pattern of lies, none of that was enough for me. If I had audio of it, it could not be denied then. After this accusation happened to me, and the LIES that followed of me attempting to settle this, another allegation happened to me shortly after. Only for cctv captured exactly that moment, in light, I would be in jail right now from it. The public does not know about the second one and why that never came to be. But I do. And so does the Gardai of Crumlin Garda Station. I often think to myself why they never came to me to say they have proof that a woman committed a crime against me in this manner and then was found to have lied. I was arrested and dragged from my car, story sold to the paper, “sports star again” or something to that effect was the headlines, then proof it was a lie and an attempted crime, and not a whisper. I have had so much injustice done against me my heart has broken to a million pieces. I pray for the truth! I pray everyday! I AM INNOCENT! #INNOCENT.’

Then the Irishman responded to an article that claimed McGregor was an ‘awful’ human being.

He wrote: ‘Just reading the article now John, who’s your Da again?

The smiling faces and happy hearts of my 4 beautiful children, testimony to the man I am! The love and support still of my people is who I am!

6 years ago, my conduct unadmirable, to put favourably. But absolute honesty my only way under these heinous accusations that were thrown out by the DPP. Twice. Who btw saw A LOT more evidence than the civil trial did.

I spent my entire life training to become MMA World Champion, with zero training in how to deal with fame and wealth. I knew I was not to come from this good however it went, but I was always going forward where I knew the truth!

Therapeutic to come clean publicly and continue my pursuit to higher ground. Everyday I work and continue to do so!

In a separate post he tweeted: ‘I was found liable for assault, and guilty of nothing.

I will be pursuing all the defamatory writings about me.’
