🚨 Conor McGregor defended after spitting at Khabib fan in viral video

Shocking footage emerged yesterday of Conor McGregor and a Khabib fan.

The Irishman was involved in an unsavoury moment after another man in the video had shouted ‘Lets go Khabib’ in a reference to his former rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

While many people have criticised McGregor’s actions former MMA fighter Jake Shields actually defended ‘The Notorious’ on social media.

On x he quote tweeted the viral video and wrote: ‘I’m not a Conor fan but if you come into his personal space and disrespect him you deserve to get spit on if not knocked out.’

Others disagreed with him online.

One said: ‘Let’s Go Khabib isn’t really disrespect. What happened to free speech? Meet words with words, meet action with action.’

Another added: ‘You should delete this. Conor TURNED AROUND and walked up to the fella-who btw posed no threat to this r@p!st- then spat on him.’

A third replied: ‘Did you miss the part where Conor walked over to him?’

A fourth fully went in: ‘Dude, what? You have some decent takes, but this is by far the wildest one. That dude was 15 feet behind him. If your ego is so fragile that you can’t handle someone preferring the guy who whooped your ass over you that you gotta spit in their face, then you a little b*tch regardless of if you can fight. Conor is a little child for this, and he deserves to go to jail for assault.’
