It’s an awful shame that we’re still talking about this incident after a good contest between two proud counties in Roscommon and Mayo. The two counties from the west played out a cracking contest at Dr. Hyde Park and will be two teams that might have a crack at the Sam Maguire this year.

This is fairly bad from Conor Cox though when he just runs into Matthew Ruane looking for a free, Ruane didn’t know what happened, should there be a card for this type of play?

Is there scope for a second referee? There probably is at this stage.. Especially when the pitch is so big and there’s so many incidents off the ball.
