It was a great match last night between both Ulster and Connacht at the Kingspan stadium in Belfast. After the game though fans were quick to point out how Ulster’s winning try shouldn’t have stood .. Have a look at some of the comments below ..

This is getting silly now with hookers, it leads to the match winning try, how’s the assistant ref or TMO not seen that?! 📸 from @hughie1986 pic.twitter.com/ZI0bQCcqI9

The same assistant and ref who couldn’t see Connacht players in front of the kick of the whole game yet penalised Ulster for it. Or ref who give Connacht a try and when TMO steps in said “he didn’t see it”
Ok I understand it should be officiated but can you explain why this is such a big deal? I can’t understand why it would give the attacking team an advantage other than being 3cm further in field. Is it any different to a top flight kicker( you in your day) nicking three of four yards on every goal kickJust maybe if the TMO hadn’t nodded off in the 15th minute when Heffernan should have been red carded for head to head on Hendy, this may not have seemed so “crucial”.
