IT’S CONFIRMED! Anthony Joshua will defend his three world titles against heavyweight contender Oleksandr Usyk on September 25th.
There’s been much talk in recent weeks about the two fighters stepping into the ring together after plans for Joshua’s proposed unification bout with Tyson Fury fell through.
On Tuesday evening came confirmation that on September 25th, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Joshua will defend his titles against Ukrainian Usyk.

Joshua deserves credit for taking the Usyk fight while waiting for Fury to settle his score with Deontay Wilder. It’s a very, very dangerous fight for him.
With the stunning defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr still fresh in the memory, he’s taking on a shrewd fighter who is keen to prove himself at heavyweight level.
There’s no better way to establish your intentions a division than to take out the champion, which Usyk will be looking to do in just over two months time.
We can’t wait for this one!
