Golf commentator Mark James should think about not digging when already in a hole. He by referring to Paul Dunne as British.

He decided to refer to the controversy during commentary today, but what he said didn’t really do anything to appease golf fans annoyed by the original remarks.

“I called him British and someone took exception – he’s Irish,” James said. “But we like to be inclusive on the BBC.”

It has not done down well.
