The former Meath footballer and now RTE pundit Colm O’Rourke was on League Sunday last night and didn’t hold back on his criticism of the Cork footballers. The Cork footballers lost to the Royal county on a scoreline of 1-18 to 1-10 up in Meath and the Cork footballers are in serious danger of dropping down to division three and playing in the secondary competition this summer in the Championship.
“They lacked even the basic skills of the game. It’s no surprise that they are at the bottom of the second division. They look as if they are going the whole way down.” said the 64 year old.
This really isn’t good enough for a county the size of Cork is Keith Ricken up to the job?
