Clinton Morrison Makes a Passionate Plea to Stop Racism Online

Posted by

The former Irish and Crystal Palace was on Sky Sports last night and made a plea to stop the racism and to stop with the online abuse, as black footballers aren’t going anywhere and his sick and tired of this abuse. The Sky Sports Pundit particularly picked out Marcus Rashford for all the good work he has done thus far using his social media.

Morrison began his career at local side Crystal Palace in 1998, for whom he scored over 100 goals across two spells, despite a less successful period at Birmingham City in between.

People in Ireland will never forget his contribution to the Irish team, particularly the World Cup squad in 2002, he might not have made the first 11, but was a good squad player and bought a lot to the party in what was a golden era of Irish football.

Fair play to Morrison and other black footballers for not taking this anymore and making a stance.
