Clare supporters have received a significant boost with the news that former All Star Colm Galvin is back home after a two month break in America.
A report on The Clare People this morning says the gifted midfielder is about to return to the county hurlers.
The return of Galvin is a significant boost to the Clare management for their upcoming qualifier game against Offaly in Cusack Park on July 4.
Davy Fitzgerald’s side were relegated from Division 1 of the hurling league while they also suffered a in their Championship opener.
Galvin was a key player in the Banner’s march to All Ireland glory in 2013 and also enjoyed three consecutive U21 titles with his native county.
Ironically, the star midfielder helped a Tipperary club to silverware during his time in Boston scoring both goals in the final.
