The Cincinnati Bengals hosted the AFC’s best team, the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday as Joe Burrow’s team took victory in a thrilling encounter.

With the Bengals leading 14-10 at halftime, the tight scoreline set the tone for the rest of the match, as they managed to get themselves over the line, winning 27-24.

The victory puts the Bengals at 8-4 for the season and also keeps Burrow undefeated against Patrick Mahomes, giving him three straight wins against the Chiefs quarterback.

The Bengals seem to have the Chiefs’ number with them beating Andy Reid’s team in the AFC Championship last season also by 27 points to 24 and in the regular season, 34-31.

Speaking to CBS after the game, Burrow admitted it felt great to get the win after his side gave it their all.

As the regular season starts drawing to a close, the Bengals will need to stay on track if they want to make the playoffs, as they face the Cleveland Browns next weekend before playing the likes of the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens in their final four games.
