Chris Wilder is Watford’s ___th manager since 2012 😲

Chris Wilder has become the latest manager to take his place in the dreaded Watford hot seat and he is the 18th to do so in the last eleven years.

Wilder has replaced Slaven Bilic who lasted just six months after winning just one of the last eight league games.

Bilic isn’t the first manager to suffer the early sack at Vicarage Road with Rob Edwards, Vladimir Ivic, Xisco Munoz and Claudio Ranieri all lasting a less-than-ideal amount of time in charge.

The Watford hierarchy didn’t mess around with a new appointment, bringing in Wilder who has been out of a job since October when he was relieved of his position as Middlesbrough manager where he left the club in the bottom three of the Championship.

Despite their poor recent run, Watford are still four points off the playoffs, so hopefully Wilder can guide the Hornets into the top six before the end of the season.
