Lionel Messi recently overtook Pele as the player with the most goals for a single club at 644 goals for Barcelona. We are witnessing two of the greatest footballers of all time and they are in the same generation.

It’s clear that Pele is unhappy with losing two records that he has been holding onto since retiring and he took to Instagram to send a slight dig to Ronaldo and his fans. Pele changed his instagram bio to suggest that Ronaldo’s new ffet is pointless as the Brazilian sees himself clear at the top with 1,283 goals over his carrer.

FIFA don’t recognise a lot of his goals with some coming in friendlies against amateur teams and even military teams. What do you make of this response from Pele, is it childish?
