Chelsea youngster Charlie Wakefield has done what most lads dream of and has bought his father a brand new £25,000 Jaguar XE for his 50th birthday and as a thank you for all his support.

Charlie’s dad was driving a 14-year-old Ford Focus but now he will be driving is style thanks to the spectacular gift from his 18-year-old son.
Wakefield signed his first professional contract with Chelsea as a 17-year-old and he took to Instagram to issue a heartfelt thank to his dad for dropping him to all his games since he was 8-years-old.

“I wouldn’t of got as far as I have without this man, I owe him everything, To think he’s not missed one of my football matches from the age I started playing, which was 8.. whether the game was round the corner, or 6 hours away.”
The full-back has been a key part of the Blues FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League and now his old man can travel to his games in style.
