Chelsea are reportedly keen to complete three more major signings before the end of the summer transfer window.
It was evident that Chelsea were going to have a busy summer, with several high-profile figures leaving and work to be done to catch Manchester City and Liverpool.
While the Blues have drafted in Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, you can be certain that Thomas Tuchel would’ve wanted more before the start of the season.
Though Chelsea are set to head to Everton without any further additions, they are expected to be busy in August to strengthen the squad for the season that lies ahead.
As is reported by Fichajes, Chelsea are intent on completing deals to sign Wesley Fofana (Leicester City), Denzel Dumfries (Inter Milan) and Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona).
Deals for Fofana and de Jong could touch £150m combined, so it’s going to be a very expensive month for Todd Boehly, should Chelsea land their transfer targets.
Whether that will be enough to make them title contenders remains to be seen, but there does appear to be exciting times ahead for the Chelsea supporters.
