Chelsea have been on the receiving end of one of the greatest transfer hijacks of all-time.
After losing out on Raphinha to Barcelona, Chelsea fans will never have wanted to pursue the same transfer targets as the Catalan giants again.
Ultimately, it was the pull of one of Europe’s most illustrious clubs that saw Raphinha hold out for a move to the Camp Nou over Chelsea.
That appears to have happened again, and this one’s going to hurt.
Chelsea fans will have went to sleep on Friday night hearing that they were set to sign highly-rated defender Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

As they awoke on Saturday morning, local reports claimed that Kounde’s move to Barcelona was now merely a signature away.

We’re not sure how Barca pulled it off overnight, we have no idea where we’re getting the cash from, but it is quite funny, isn’t it?
