Thiago Silva has committed his future to the Blues, putting pen to paper on a new one-year contract extension.
The Brazilian centre-back has been exceptional for Chelsea since signing from PSG and has arguably been their only good player so far this campaign.
Despite being 38, he has marshalled the backline superbly and rarely if ever put a foot out of place.

Chelsea has brought in a ton of young promising centre-backs along with a more experienced Kalidou Koulibally, yet the Brazilian’s position has never been in question.
His contract was due to run out in the summer but he has just signed a contract extension, keeping him at the club for one more year.
