Chelsea are set to sign Norwich City youngster Alex Matos as the Blues continue to build a strong youth academy.
This comes from Fabrizio Romano, who says the deal to bring Matos to Stamford Bridge is entering the final stages.
Matos is yet to make a first team appearance for Norwich, but has 13 appearances in the Premier League 2 where he has three assists.
Matos is the next in a long list of youth talents signed by Chelsea under the new Todd Boehly regime as the club remain intent on creating one of the strongest youth academies in the world.

A winger by trade, Matos will certainly have his work cut out if heβs to make it into the Chelsea first team, with the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Rahaeem Sterling, Noni Madueke, Christian Pulisic, Joao Felix and Hakim Ziyech all possessing the ability to play out wide.

Should Matos sign on the dotted line with the Blues, he will join up with the likes of Omari Hutchinson, Mason Burstow and Charlie Webster who have shone for the Under21s this season.
