Chelsea set to run out of cash MUCH quicker than you’d have thought

Chelsea will run out of money in just 17 DAYS unless a buyer is found before that time, reports the Daily Mail.

The Blues face an uncertain future as a result of the sanctions put upon Roman Abramovich by the UK government in response to his close relationship with Vladimir Putin.

Chelsea have essentially been seized by the government, with the club now unable to make any cash through fear that it could end up in the back pocket of the Putin-supporting Russian oligarch.

That raises serious questions as to whether they will be able to stay afloat or could legitimately find themselves in administration, with a major financial crisis looming.

According to the Daily Mail, it will take just 17 days for Chelsea’s cash reserves to run dry, at which point the Blues will need a quick sale in order to guarantee their survival as a club.

It’s remarkable to think that Chelsea were previously notorious for their immense wealth – and now have next to no money at their disposal, with little scope to change that.

For the sake of all those employed by the club, from top to bottom, we dearly hope that this situation resolves itself and there are no unpaid wages or redundancies…
