Chelsea players show support for N’Golo Kante in Frenchman’s first game back from injury

Mason Mount and Thiago Silva were in attendance for N’Golo Kante’s first game back from injury against Charlton Athletic.

Kante featured for Chelsea’s development squad against the League One side, as the Blues won 3-0, with the Frenchman playing 60 minutes.

The Chelsea number 7 played his first competitive minutes since he suffered a hamstring injury against Tottenham in August, after featuring on the bench for his first team last weekend against Everton, but he was not brought on by Graham Potter.

As Kante got himself some gametime yesterday, he was given some support by his Chelsea team mates Mason Mount and Thiago silva, with Mount wearing a Kante shirt in the stands.

The support from the pair for their colleague shows the team spirit the Blues have, and even though Mount is currently going through a contract standoff with Chelsea, it seems that he is still keen on showing the bond he has with his team mate.
